I took part in a Google Hangout, titled “Starting Up Part-Time” that by Intuit Canada for their StartUp Ready campaign. It was chaired by Sean Stanleigh, Small Business Editor at the Globe and Mail. Alongside me was David Thomas Intuit Canada, Brandon Waselnuk, Co-Founder of Tattoo Hero, Karen Holman, President of Countryfield Clothing, and Victoria Lennox, CEO of Startup Canada.
We discussed the pros and cons of being a part-time entrepreneur and how we overcame it to go full-time. It was interesting to hear everyone’s perspective, the path they are taking, and most importantly, their personal story. It amazes me that there are countless ways of starting up a business and how people are doing it every day.
