If their main servers go down, the service providers will switch over to the backup systems immediately. This redundancy allows SMB to continue their business with minimal interruption.
Cloud computing allows users to access their apps and data from anywhere. Unlike traditional desktop software that can only be run on the computer on which the software is installed, most cloud-based apps require nothing but a browser and a stable Internet connection to run. SMB owners don’t have to worry about forgetting an important file in the office when they need to meet a client. With the increasing popularity of telecommuting, SMB owners and their employees can work remotely if their business is on the cloud.
